Nonprofit Website Transformations

Following my 4-step process of Ask, Understand, Recommend, Create, these nonprofit websites were completely revised and relaunched.

Babysteps Ministry – Homelessness

Babysteps Ministry is a tiny (really tiny) homeless ministry nonprofit, so we were limited in what we could do, especially in terms of design.

The old site was unclear in almost every way. Even a homeless nonprofit 35-year veteran who looked at the site couldn’t tell what Babysteps was about. ProActive Content was hired to rewrite the entire site, and improve the usability and conversion processes. Visit the actual website to see it all, or view the samples below.

Here’s the new Home Page and the new About Us Main page:

Hetauda House – Human Trafficking

Hetauda House was a one-time fundraising campaign to build a safe home from human sex trafficking in Nepal that will educate and house the kids, and give job training to women.

When ProActive Content was hired, they had a website, but it had almost no content whatsoever, and relied almost entirely on two pieces — a 21 minute documentary and the story of Lila, the founder. When planning to raise $500,000, these two items are not nearly enough.

ProActive Content built out the site with credible and authoritative content that is essential to winning over the big donors. We met the goal, raised $475,000, and the home has now been built.  See the completed facility here! View some site samples below. (Being a one-time campaign, original site has been discontinued)

READ THE BOOK. The Ultimate Fundraising Case Study is the most ready-to-use fundraising book ever written. It gives you the full value of everything we learned over the course of this 10 month successful fundraiser.

Find it here on Amazon and here on my own bookselling site.

Here’s the new Home Page and the new Ambassador (peer to peer fundraising) page, and the old ones.
